Synopsis

An independent filmmaker teams up with an infomercial guru to produce a low, low-budget adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings.” The result-bad acting, temperamental crew members, focus groups, lawsuits, awkward product placements, and an untimely death-is a spoof of movies, movie making and movies about movie making.
